It is an overgrowth of that particular bacteria in the intestines, usually the cause of peptic ulcers. Once again it seems it is dysfunction of the intestinal flora that seems to be very closely related to vulvar and gyn problems.

H.pylori present in probably approx. half the world population. It is

a very common bacterium.
