Guest guest
Hi , I live in Willowbrook which is close to LaGrange, Oak Park etc. I'm newly dx in the past 3 months. Had a TT with Modified Neck Dissection on 8/4. I went to the group in Park Ridge last Tuesday and I found it very helpful. It's from 7 to 9 and even if you pop in half way you will meet some very supportive people. I still feel overwhelmed and I haven't had my RAI yet, however I know this group will be here to support me. There's so many of us in the Southwest suburbs I didn't realize it. Donna and I are both seeing the same doctor at Loyola. What doctor are you seeing? Keep posting your concerns on the site. When I first started everyone was so helpful and still is. Guest guest
Judy, My surgeon is Angelos at Northwestern. I work there and thats where my PPO's are as well. I am seeing Dr. Desantis (endocrinologist) on Tuesday for the first time. I may just try to make it out to park ridge next month. I really need some support. Can you please explain " midified neck dissection " ? I have seen that many times but have no clue what it is or how they decide if you need it. thanks gina > Hi , > > I live in Willowbrook which is close to LaGrange, Oak Park etc. I'm > newly dx in the past 3 months.
