Come, Listen & Learn

Principals, Administrators, and Teachers share the strategies they use to

make inclusion of students with disabilities successful in their schools and

districts.

Parents talk about the benefits from their children's participation in

general education and how they obtained the supports and services needed for

their children's successful inclusion.

Students will reveal how being educated with their peers has affected their

learning and their lives.

The START Project is a partnership between the Statewide Parent Advocacy

Network & the New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Special

Education Programs. This program is funded through the New Jersey State

Improvement Grant for Special Education: Partnerships for Access, Equity and

Outcomes.

Local directions

Take Preakness Avenue to the very top of the hill. (approx. 1 mile) Turn

left onto Oldham Road and take the first right onto Reinhardt Rd.

From 80 East. Exit at Minnisink Road - at end of exit make left, go over

Route 80. and take an immediate left onto Vreeland Ave. Go to end. At stop

sign and make a right onto Riverview Dr. After the 4th light, make a right

onto Valley Rd. Go to 3rd light and make a right onto Preakness Avenue.

Follow Preakness Avenue directions above.

From GSP South Take Exit 154 onto Route 46 West, exit at Riverview Dr.

Make a left off the ramp, at next light and an immediate right onto

Riverview Drive, towards Wayne. At the 6th light (approx. 1.3 mi.) make a

right onto Valley Rd. Go to the 3rd light and turn right onto Preakness

Avenue. Follow Preakness Avenue directions above.

Take US-1 SOUTH toward TRENTON - Exit at PERRY ST. go 0.4 mi. Bear right
