Betty,

Thank you!

That is exactly what I was hoping for. I realize this board is not general

Thyroid concerns. But, one of her fears is that they missed the Thyca the

first time. When I asked her about the pathology report for the first nodule

they

removed during her PT in 1985, she said, they didn't do a full Path report,

they told her that they had done a portion of it during surgery, which came

back fine so that's why they didn't do a full TT. She was on the Snythroid for

16 weeks. Her main concern is about the 4 cm nodule that she is concerned is

Thyca. I'm well aware that TSH goals for Thyca patients is significantly

different than non-Thycans, I was a regular Joe for 3 years prior to Thyca.

That

said, my Endo believes that even non-Thycans can and should have TSh below 3.

She was willing to even lower mine which was at 1.54, because I wasn't feel

where I had in the past, but then they found the thyca. Anyways, I will

mention that she may want to get 2nd and 3rd opinions and also throw out the T3

and

Armour possibilities, perhaps she can take these to future Endo visits. I'm

seeing her daughter this week when I go down to Fl for my sister's

wedding.... I'm going to discuss much of this with her. Betty, Thank you for

your

compassion and taking the time out to give me some feedback. I really do

appreciate it.
