Guest guest
Hi Lina,In the past yr. I had two rounds of bilateral Pudendal blocks (meaning they gave me shots on both sides, right and left). However, I didn't have mine the trans-vaginal route, I had mine through the butt! ;-) The doc gave me shots to numb the skin before he actually did the blocks, but I still felt some pain. When are you having the block? Take Care,ChelleHi ladies.Does anybody had Transvaginal pudendal nerve block? Is it really painfull ? I have appoitment for that and very scared. Thanks Lina. Guest guest
Hi Lina, I had two rounds of bilateral pudendal blocks transvaginally. I got put to sleep while they did it. They both gave me about 6 hrs of being painfree. I opted not to have a third because it cost me over $200 each for that little time of relief. Also, the first one numbed my right side of the genitals, the back of that leg and foot for almost 2 days. The second time they must have got it right. It is a bit tender where you get the injections. The first one left me with a big bruise. Anyway, I was scared too. But it turned out okay. Let us know how you do. Good Luck. Guest guest
Wow, Debbie, they put you to sleep for the blocks? Did you request that? I didn't even get any meds to help me relax. I literally had to drag my right foot after my first round of blocks. We flew to NH for me to get the blocks (both rounds). The blocks didn't make my pain worse, but they didn't seem to really help, either. I still had pain with sitting after them. It was nice to be numb, though, in the vulvar region. ;-) Take Care,ChelleI had two rounds of bilateral pudendal blocks transvaginally. I got put to sleep while they did it. Guest guest
Hey Chelle, I did not recommend to be put to sleep that is just how that doctor does it. You are so right. It felt good to be numb and not feel any pain. Take Care. Debbie > > I had two rounds of bilateral pudendal blocks transvaginally. I got put to sleep while they did it.
