Guest guest
Hi to be totally honest I don't know what my current labs look like. I was diagnosed with it a couple of months ago and told I don't have anything to worry about, so I havn't asked for any test results or anything. To be honest at the time didn't want to know the details!, it felt bad enough being told I had it ha ha. I've got to go back to the consultant in a year for another check up. Was told my ceatine (if thats right)was quite high so got to have it checked again in a couple of months. What does it mean if it is high, do you know? Thanks > > Hi jjbubbles, > > It is wonderful to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear that you've been > experiencing pain. Guest guest
Hi Jbubbles, It is really impossible to say what it means that your creatinine is high. High could mean barely above normal, or high could mean you are near end stage kidney disease, although since your doctor told you not to worry, I seriously doubt that is the case with you. If your normal baseline creatinine is 0.8, 1.2 might be high, but 4.2 is also high. On this one, you really need to talk to your Nephrologist. Sorry we can't be of more help on this one. Guest guest
Hello - I strongly urge that you talk to your neph about this. I'm a little confused because on one hand you are saying you have " the good type " of IgAN, but then you are also saying that your creatinine is " quite high " . These are rather inconsistent. I suggest checking out www.igan.ca There is a world of information there that can help you put all the pieces together and provide a framework for thinking more clearly about this. If you have questions, just let us know! One can advocate better on behalf of oneself if you have information. Given that your creatinine is elevated and you have fatigue problems, I suggest you ask your doc whether you are anemic because anemia is consistent with advanced renal disease. That may not be the answer, but it's a good place to begin asking questions, Cy Fatigue >> >> >> >I have just read the email from a 24 year old regarding fatigue. Guest guest
We went gf yesterday. I am exhausted today-my body feels so heavy and I feel overly fatigued. I am also very testy, and on edge. This is not good for family relations......LOL. Did anyone else experience these things??? Guest guest
Zanna - Could it be that you are just very uptight about the new diet? Or even hungry because you are afraid to eat anything without checking it seventeen times? Be sure you are getting enough protein, and drinking lots of water. Also, sleeping enough. How is the rest of the family? Barbara in SoCal __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Well, I am eating enough and I already drink about a gallon of water each day so I am sure that isn't the problem. I think because I am stressed about the kids and hubby getting the right foods that they need. Guest guest
Zanna, When I first went GF I was totally exhausted and could not see straight. I was told it is a detox process and should get better. Hope that helps. _,_._,___
