Dear group,

I would like to have some information about the special school in

Cincinnati area. My son is 8 year old and severe autistic. My husband

got an offer in Cincinnati. And I am really worrying about the school

there. Any listers from Ohio, please share some info. This will help us

to decide whether hubby takes this offer or not.

Thanks!

Hi Amy -

I also responded to Ping's request. I think the school is Trinity

School. St. Rita's is FABULOUS, but is REALLY hard pressed to take

kids with anything beyond hearing impairment. They do, on rare

occasions, work with apraxic kids (or kids with other issues

rendering them non-verbal) but in general, they don't. The Trinity

School is a coop school in the Deer Park area and they work with

kids with a whole host of backgrounds, including autism, asperger's,

ADHD, OHI, etc.. Last I checked, they didn't really have a

website.

Just didn't want St. Rita's to be flooded with calls!! Are you in

Cinci?
