Guest guest
I am 8 pounds from reaching my goal weight of 130!!! Actually, I would LOVE to make it to 120, but I will be happy making it to 130, cause I know that it would just be a hop, skip, and jump to the next goal. I started out at the heaviest I have EVER been in my life, 167 pounds. When I saw a picture of myself back in march, I had a fit! (actually, I was ill with a virus in march, lost a couple of pounds due to being sick, and decided that when I got over the virus, I would start a weight loss program, and I found ww points, and boy, does it EVER work for me, never hungry, I eat all throughout the day, and lots of veggies!) I am 5'2 " tall, 46 years young, and now I weigh in as of 6-24-05 at 138!! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!! I usually dont weigh in until sunday morning, but curiousity was getting the better of me today. I usually lose about 1 1/2-2 pounds a week, and havent hit too many plataoues (SP?) so I am so happy! As I said, I am NEVER hungry, eating the way I do, I have breakfast at 6 am, then a couple of hours later, I eat a low fat granola type bar, around 120 calories (sometimes I will even have a cookie, long as I count it into my points plan) then I have a veggie platter for lunch, then another snack a couple of hours later, be it a piece of fruit, or granola bar, and count my points, then for supper, I have a veggie platter, small serving of a low fat type meat, OR veggie soup with a little ground beef in it (I use stir fry veggies in my soup, and I LOVE it!) or I may even have a ham or roast beef (deli slice) sandwiche, with mustard, kosher dill pickle, and a slice of onion on it, very satisfying to me. I also take a multivitamin daily, and a biotin tablet, calcium supplement, because I dont like anything but whole milk, I do use fat free or low fat yogurt as a calcium dairy, but I make sure I take ALL my vitamens. I walk 2 miles a day (that doesnt seem like much, but you havent seen where I live.......up hills, down hills, the whole two miles, I get a good work out, believe me......and I enjoy it.) But, I have a question: Since I am always full after eating my points, when I get to goal, HOW do I STOP losing, I dont know if I can eat more, as I have never been an over eater, just didnt make wise, healthy choices? I dont want to gain it back, but I want to keep eating healthy, will I just stop losing weight when my body has reached its ideal weight? Any thoughts on this? Just curious.
