I get my pure Vit E oil at Sprouts health food store here. I'm sure Whole Foods has it too.

I also swear by Avocado oil and the brand I use has Vit E oil in it and nothing else.

-- Where to get pure vitamin E oil. Emu oil....

I have been using pure Vitamin E oil along with my Estace (topical

Estrogen) for about 10 years now with great results. Using Estace

alone left me too itchy. I use a pea-size amount of Estrace than a

similar amount of Vitamin E oil (It is not compounded together by a

pharmacy). I have been special ordering from a pharmacy, but the

company (Nature Made)no longer makes it any more. It was called Nutra-

E pure vitamin E oil. It contains no other ingredients but Tocopheryl

Acetate (Vitamin E). I have been searching for another product to

replace this, but am finding there are other ingredients besides

vitamin E added such as grapeseed oil, calenunda oil, apricot oil etc.

I worry that these other ingredients might be irritating to the vulvar

skin. Do any of you use a Vitamin E oil in a similar way? What brand

do you use? I am considering trying Emu Oil, but don't know if there

is a wide variety of quality in brands, etc and if it has been

successful in counteracting the harshness of the Estace. I'd be curious

to know if any of you have used both Vitamin E oil and Emu Oil and what

the difference in results have been. Thank you for any suggestions you

can give me.

A great source for pure oils, organic herbs, and other bodycare products is Mountain Rose Herbs. I actuallyuse my Vitamin E from them on my face, and have added a few drops to other oil mixes i use since it is anexcellent natural preservative. The label on my bottle reads: 100% Vitamin E oil (mixed tocopherols) vacuumdistilled from soy or sunflower sources.Hollis

Thanks, Ivy. I didn't think of looking at health food stores. We

don't have a Whole Foods or Sprouts, but have a few indepently owned

health food stores. Thanks for responding.

,

I've been using Vitamin E oil from Trader Joe's grocery -it's actually

a blend of soybean, coconut, and vitamin E oils. I put it on at night

before going to bed and in the morning too if I'm especially dry. It

really is very soothing and helps the redness/inflammation go down if

I'm having a flare-up.

Best,

Thanks for responding . Maybe a few added ingredients in the

Vitamin E oil wouldn't be harmful. We have a few health food stores in

my area which I need to check out. I'm glad the vitamin E oil has

helped sooth your skin. It sure has helped me.

Take care,

Hi ,I'm not sure where to get a pure form of Vitamin E. oil, but if I come across anything, I'll let you know. Have you tried drugstore.com? Also, as for the Emu Oil, Laid in Montana brand is the best that I'm aware of. It is pure and it will also help the estrogen cream absorb better into the skin. Take Care,ChelleI have been using pure Vitamin E oil along with my Estace (topical Estrogen) for about 10 years now with great results. Using Estace alone left me too itchy.
