Guest guest
The Olympus video colonoscope was introduced in the rectum under direct vision. Bowel preparation was reasonably good. The scope was advanced through the colon until the cecum was reached. This was identified by the appendiceal orifice and the ileocecal valve. The terminal ileum was entered for 25 to 30 cm and appeared normal. During slow withdrawal, an inspection of the ileum and right colon was completely normal. No s/l *coralith* ____ was seen for her abdominal pain. No diverticulosis, colitis, or polyps were seen throughout the examination.
