Guest guest
best luck to you, Amy! That's was a long time. I know you have said it to me, but did pred helped you control protein? If so, it's probably worthy it. Al
Guest guest
> Amy, I'm also reducing my prednisone levels....I've found that the HSP rash comes back as the levels are lowered, but stabilizes after a week or so. I'm getting my kidney function checked Thurs and I hope that's stable as well. Good luck to you! turkey > > > > This is my first day of every other day dosing on the pred. Guest guest
You've been in both my thoughts and prayers Amy. I sure am hoping for the best for you in this wean. My husband and I didn't go sailing this past weekend (because of the hurricane watch in RI - we're hoping to go this weekend if the weather holds), so Elisabet went ahead and stepped down her pred last Friday. After kind of holding our breath, we are starting to relax. So far so good. It is definitely much better than it was last time. She's fighting a cold and feels draggy, but she is not in bed crying with a migraine. She even played her soccer game (with a minor headache) on Sunday afternoon. We're just taking things one day at a time. And today's a good day! Knowing that you are stepping as well, you've been in my thoughts and prayers. I know how eager you are to be off the stuff. Hope the ride isn't too bumpy between here and there. Keep us posted on how it's going. Wishing you all the best, B, Elisabet's mom > This is my first day of every other day dosing on the pred. Guest guest
Amy - I am confident you will do just fine! This is cause to celebrate - it's been a long time coming. Think positive sweetie :-) Hugs, Rita
Guest guest
Oh Amy doll! I do pray this wean is much easier on you than the previous ones. Please keep us posted on how it is going. I am pulling for you! By the way, I was interested in your post on the fish oil too. I have never really taken fish oil so I am interested in your results. Take it easy, one day at a time and know we are all her pulling for you. Guest guest
Hi , Sorry you had to postpone your sailing trip. I am delighted to hear that Elisabet's wean is going so well, and that she is migraine free! Praise God for that!!! I do pray she recovers from her cold quickly. Guest guest
Thanks Cy. Her fatigue seems to be increasing, but the headaches are still manageable thus far. And for that we are incredibly grateful. Tomorrow makes a week. I haven't heard from her doctor, but I am assuming one more week, and we step her down again.
