Guest guest
The yeast free diet is not hard for me to do. I was sort of eating that way already even though I have had to change the dairy part. I have never been a big milk drinker but I would eat ice cream sometimes but would use more cream cheese and sour cream. I now use soy yogart which I don't think is that bad but I sweeten it with stevia and add cinnamon . In the bible cure book I spoke about Dr. Colbert says that splenda is ok. I have started using that again along with the stevia. I was at one time a big sweet eater. I still like sweets and that is probably the hardest thing to do is to quict the sugar. ONce you get it out of your system I swear you don't crave it. As far as breads and crackers go Try the French Meadow Brand breads. They can be found at Whole foods and I am sure other places and they are in the frozen foods. They have no yeast, sugar presersatives. The spelt bread is good but my favorite is the sunflower flax bread. I still use butter on it when I toast it. I hope you give this way of eating a try. I feel like the main foods ieat ARE yeasty. :-/ But i'm willing to try something if it means beingrelief-free.This was very helpful, thank you!> > From: blueeberri@. .. <blueeberri@ ...>> Subject: itching in reply to (venting)> To: faruqi@...> Cc: VulvarDisorders@ yahoogroups. com> Date: Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 8:42 AM> > > > > > > > I started itching and burning 9 years ago. I went to doc after docand they said oh well or tried drug treatments. I finally went on thecandida diet and kept a food diary. I found certain foods triggeredthis. When I first started the diet, I also took Nystatin antifungalas precribed in THE YEAST CONNECTION HANDBOOK by Crook. See ifyour library has that book. I was told my every gyn I did not haveyeast then I had my tongue scraped by my family doc and she told me Ihad a rare yeast on my tongue. Not every yeast is candida albicans. And not all yeast responds to diflucan. I also saw a naturalnutritionist and a Chinese medical doctor. The Chinese doctor told meI had digestive issues because my tongue was white. The nutrionistsaid I could have an intolence to gluten. They were both RIGHT. TheGYNS were WRONG. Now I have to watch what I eat and not over do thesugar, corn syrup, what or dairy. After 4 months on the strict diet when i> started, the burning and itching was gone. I can have a flare up ifI eat poorly do not get enough rest or do not take my supplements. Butif I do it is barely anything and totally tolerable. When I first gotthis the burning was insane.> > Blueeberri> > > > > > > A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
