Guest guest
I've gotten more sound sensitive as time goes by too. has started this very quiet gulping sound. It drives me nuts because I seen to hear it no matter how quiet he does it. And of course it's just something that he did a couple times and then it became a habit! We almost got rid of it when he got tonsilitis because his throat hurt so bad, but nope, it came back. He just likes doing it and now he's not concious of when he's making that sound! Also, Mark can't stand for anyone to even touch his feet! I also can't stand for anyone to rub my arms. Makes me want to crawl out of my skin right from the beginning. After a minute, it feels like sunburn to me. Now remember, I always said I have sensory issues..... Sue
Guest guest
It IS horrible. I HATE it when people try to touch my face or my hair...HATE it. When I was living at home, I could NOT eat at the table with my mother because of how she swallows. I can't do it now either. DH can't eat in bed. I can't STAND to hear him eating. When he takes a drink of water, I cover my ears... We can be watching TV, and I can hear him twisting his moustache or whatever, ever so quietly, I have to turn and yell at him to stop. <shudder> Drives me MAD, I say! Guest guest
You all should try to be around Chris! He is enough to drive a saint bananas when eating. We go over and over and over etiquette, but he slurps, and smacks and attacks his food and silverware, practically inhaling his food. I wonder that he even tastes it. It's awful. I make him use chopsticks often just to slow him down, but then he gets mad and that gets ugly. > > has started this very quiet gulping sound.
