I used it in the summer of 2000. I flew round trip from Minneapolis,

MN to New York, NY. I bid $150. After they added taxes and all the

extra charges, it was still under $200 round trip. I didn't have any

problems with them although I've heard of people who have...what

those problems were, i'm not sure. The only thing I would tell you

is to watch the days you say you want to fly because they can, (and

often do) schedule a 6 am flight.

Thanks for your feedback. I guess the value was worth it? How much

do you think you saved? Someone told me you put in the days and it

comes back w/it's own time. Did you get to select from times? If

you don't like the times can you cancel?

No you can't cancel. They ask for your credit card info before they

process the bid. If the bid is accepted, they just debit your card.

Sure you can cancel...but you won't get your money back. You can't

choose from times so I suggest asking for one day longet than you

really want. I wish I would have. unless you don't mind going

really early...although I supposr they could end up scheduling you

really late as well. That's the whole thing. You just don't know.

BUT I feel it was definitely worth it. A round trip ticket at the

time was almost $1000 so I would do it again in a heartbeat. And

actually, I went with a girlfriend. She had the plane tickets and

she left them in the seat pocket of the plane. We changed planes in

Washington DC. If we hadn't bought our tickets online, we would have

had to miss that flight. So, it was kind of nice in that respect. I

hope this all helps.

HI AUGUST HAVE YOU TRIED EXPEDIA. I HEAR THEY A GOOD. A DF OF MINE

LIVES IN MEXICO AND SHE USES IT ALOT . THEY MOVED THERE FOR TWO

YEARS AND HAD TO FLY BACK TO MICHIGAN ALOT.

Speaking of " little brother or sister " ... I went out with my 3 kids for dinner

on Friday(They are 12, 9, and almost 4 months.. my TR baby) and someone asked my

12 year old if the baby was her's(she was holding him). The lady got the " No, he

is my brother " speech! LOL

:)

I purchased two tickets today on Priceline.com. I was very pleased with the

rate...a little scared to give my credit card info so early in the process...but

all ended up GOOD.

I would use it again.

I don't mind you asking questions...that's why we are here.

I bought the ticker so my 18 1/2 year old son who is in college in CA (living

with my ex) can come visit me for a week. I am so excited to see him. He is

bringing his girlfriend with him.

The times leaving Southern CA on a Wednesday: 2:30 p.m., arrive Detroit, MI

11:30 p.m.

Going back to Southern CA, leaving Detroit, MI 7:15 p.m., arriving in Los

Angeles at 11:30 pm.

Priceline does give you a few choices and does offer you a chance to do a new

search. That is why I was so pleased.

Yes, I am very excited to see him, he has been very busy with college and

baseball. He arrives in July and we have a fun time planned. His sister (my 21

1/2 yr old) will be joining us with her husband for our family outing.

My daughter keeps telling me how weird it is going to be for her to say, " yeah,

this is my little brother or sister " . She is very excited for us.

My son needs to be reminded that I am going to do this. In person though!
