I lied, I use to be in this group, but left when they didn't think it

was Apraxia. Well I am back!

is 29 months old, and is in early Intervention, he recieves

speech therapy and also sees a special education teacher. Since being

in EI we have moved. So he is on a " new set " of teachers. Which is kind

of nice, because we get their opinion as well. He knows a lot of sign

langugae, but doesn't usually initiate the communication.

Both of his new teachers have said that he has all the tall tell signs

of Apraxia. No if, ands or buts.

He says " goooooooooooooo " , " dadada " and " coocoo " (for cookie)...and has

said " uh-uh " for uh-oh but haven't heard it in awhile.

My name is Eileen, I am 22 and a stay at home mom. TJ my fiance, is 26

and a deaftsmen, and also working towards a bachelors in game art &

design.

When were you able to start potty training? I try to show/teach him to

tell me when he goes " tinkle " or a " Stinky " but he isn't really

catching on.

Is there anything I should know about Apraxia that is a need to know?

Thank-you for having us.

, Eileen & TJ.
