I, too, have felt so much better with my vulvar pain since getting pregnant. I had 2 yeast infections during my pregnancy at 5 and 12 weeks and havent had one since. Yay! I totally believe that pregnancy has helped my hormones rebalance. All my problems started after a miscarriage..so its nice knowing that everything is 99% better since getting pregnant. Although, I cannot say it was due to birth since my baby was delivered via cesarean. My baby girl is 10 weeks now and I am still feeling great!

Lots of luck!

Hey, just wanted to chime in and say that my son's birth (in March)was the best thing for my vulvar pain. Since his birth, I have beencompletely pain free. I still have to use lube, but it's 99% better. Iwas so worried about a vaginal delivery and I'm SO glad I did it. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I love the name. My goddaughter is3 months old, and her name is Khloe . > > > > > > >

I don't know if it was the physical therapy, finally gettingyeast under control, or pregnancy changes, but I've been pain free formonths. I've also spoken with other women that said pregnancy seemedto help both re-set their hormones and take care of the last stubbornvulvar trigger points...so I'm hoping that this is the end of ajourney for me and the beginning of a new one (being a mom). Ofcourse, I've heard about other birth stories that triggeredvulvodynia, but I'm putting those out of my mind and feel that byusing a midwife who does such a good job at supporting the perinealarea and> reducing vaginal and baby trauma that I've done what I can toaddress that issue. > Chelle, how old are your sons?>
