Guest guest
Hey Ora, thanks for sending that in...makes me wonder which brands in particular have that ingredient....guess I'll have to start checking labels! Why do they have to use so many crazy chemicals in our products these days. My husband and younger son were both diagnosed with Asthma this past week. Thankfully it's a mild form for both of them, but still, it seems like our bodies are on over-load these days! Ugh! Take Care,Chelle
Guest guest
Probably most brands have it. It is very commonly used in baby wipes, anti-bacterial washes, as well as those little towelettes handed out by fast food places. Once i was in a restaurant and they gave me a little packet and like a dummy I didn't know what it was so I opened it up and a drop of the liquid flew into my eye. My eye became swollen and inflamed and I read the riot act to the manager of the restaurant because the label was blank and did not state what was in it. When I first started having symptoms of vulvodynia my daughter had just given birth to her first child and was using baby wipes to clean his bottom. I thought they were nice and used them myself " down there " from time to time. I discovered that some brands would irritate me and some would not. I quit using them after a while because of the cost and started using dampened kleenex. I wonder if I am allergic to the BAK. Guest guest
Hey Ora, sounds very likely that you are allergic with the reactions you have described. That was smart idea to just dampen the Kleenex. :-) I always looked for baby wipes for my boys that were for sensitive skin and fragrance free. My younger son has been so sensitive to many things.
