Guest guest
Poor Ebony, but it sounds as if it went pretty well. I remember when Putter had stitches in his lip, it was awful, but the doctor did a super job and there was no scar. Salli
Guest guest
OW!!! Poor Ebony. I'm glad she did so well though. We have done the stitches things a couple times with Chris. He was wrapped in sheets and papoosed, but he also was sedated. He did really great though when he broke his arm...and his ankle (twice), but he was older then. I hope it heals really fast for her! Guest guest
Hi Tamara! Glad she wasn't hurt worse and that she seemed to handle the hospital pretty well. How's it going with the special outfits for her? No more poop parties, I hope. Can you sneak a picture of her so we can see a toothless smile? Sounds cute. Guest guest
> poor ebony! i got six stitches in my knee this summer and i have to tell you i would have rather given birth! > michelle mg Because I need a laugh this morning, I am going to tell you all my stitches story. When I was 19, I worked in a very busy bar that had many different sections. My friends always sat in a back section that had sit-down chairs and tables and was dimly lighted. One night after my shift, I went back to sit with them before I started to clean up. Before anyone could stop me, I sat down on a chair that had a broken beer glass on it. (WHO puts a broken glass on a CHAIR?!?) It stung, but I was full of adrenaline from just serving last call, and so I went on and tried to clear up -- but blood was poouring down my leg from a cut in my ass. My wonderful and sensitive boyfriend (ha! that would be Marc, my dh) was working the door that night, but didn't want to drive me to the hospital BECAUSE HE WAS TIRED AND WANTED TO GO HOME, so he sent me up to emerg with a guy from his class. (remember people - how he is when you meet him is how he is when you marry him!) So they put me through emerg and into a treatment room, where they got me to pull down my shorts and life face down on the exam table. Then they put a sheet over me with a big hole cut out and centred over my ass. All the while, the uy in Marc's class (who was a friend of mine) is sitting there with me. So they froze my ass, then went out, waiting for the doctor. THEY LEFT THE DOOR OPEN. So there I lay for twenty minutes, my ass framed and sticking up, with the door wide open so that all passers-by and a guy I'm barely friends with can look in and appreciate my big white ass under the bright white examining light! After that, the stitches didn't hurt AT ALL. :-) Jacquie
