Guest guest
I would want this. I have to add the fish oil to juice anyway, and then it becomes too intense with other flavorings. I wish vitamin producers could produce a liquid vitamin without flavoring or sweeteners that you could just add to your kids juice. That would be fantastic. Please pass that along. kiddietalk <kiddietalk@...> wrote: Nordic Naturals has asked me to ask here if anyone would be interested in a ProEFA without any flavoring. I said I knew lots would prefer the strawberry to the lemon -but that wasn't the question... No flavor at all -just fish oil flavored fish oil. (for those highly sensitive children allergic to flavorings perhaps?) NN wants to get a rough idea how much this is wanted. So anyone? (now is your chance if this is what you've been waiting for) =====

Guest guest
If it didn't taste fishy I'd give it a try but I don't know if such a thing is possible. Overall, we're pretty satisfied with the lemony version. Guest guest
Yes, fish oil flavored fish oil would be wonderful for those highly sensitive children (and adults, like me,) who cannot tolerate lemon. It would be great to have the choice. Thank you for passing along this questionnaire........--also for the wonderful Tanner update, etc., etc., etc. Every single thing you do, out of the goodness of your heart, to help the rest of us. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Suzanne Re: [ ] ProEFA with no flavor anyone? If it didn't taste fishy I'd give it a try but I don't know if such a thing is possible. Guest guest
I agree with the response that if the fish oil could be flavor-free, (including fish-flavor-free) that would be a miracle and I'd be thrilled. But if the choice is betweem fish or lemon flavor, we go for the latter. Karyn

Guest guest
Why not have a vanilla-flavored fish oil? I know that EyeQ makes a vanilla-flavored liquid, so it is indeed possible. That would be better than the fishy taste. So many people cannot tolerate lemon, and a lot of people are also allergic to strawberries. Maybe it wouldn't be real strawberry, but I wonder who knows what it is about strawberry that causes the allergic reaction? I've never heard of anyone who was allergic to vanilla. Also, it's not acidic, as lemon and strawberry are. If Nordic Naturals would make vanilla, I would use their products for myself. If they would make it even fish-oil taste with no flavoring added at all, I would use it for myself. I have problems with allergies to acidic foods, so a daily dose of lemon or strawberry would do me in. I want so much to use Nordic Naturals for myself, but I cannot as long as they have the lemon in the fish oil--and it's in the actual capsule as well, right? So I vote for either no flavoring at all or for using vanilla. Suzanne [ ] Re: ProEFA with no flavor anyone? Guest guest
" How soon can they make it!!! " I'm sure company time soon (months to years?) I'll find out. I did just send this email to NN to give them feedback as they requested (and a copy of an email from a parent who " needs " lemon flavor free fish oil): Hi Tracey! I had sent a message out to our CHERAB grouplist asking who is looking for a flavor free fish oil from Nordic Naturals. I have who is director of professional sales copied on here because I feel your message (below) is a good indicator that a flavor free fish oil would make for a nice addition to the current line. In our group the response was far from the majority (most do prefer the lemon flavoring) however the other suggestions were vanilla flavored -and if you could " make a fish oil capsule without any fish flavor " ) I do hope that your message together with the feedback we received shows there is a small percentage who would prefer flavor free oils. Guest guest
For us I would hate to lose the lemon flavor. I can get my son to pop the cap in his mouth and eat it. Lemon seems to work for us. Thanks, Amy D. gracies_mom83 <joni.bickel@...> wrote: > > Nordic Naturals has asked me to ask here if anyone would be > interested in a ProEFA without any flavoring. Guest guest
I have found the citrus flavours far easier to administer - even more so than berry. I don't think my kids would be happy with no flavouring! Amy <acdudick@...> wrote: For us I would hate to lose the lemon flavor. I can get my son to pop the cap in his mouth and eat it. Guest guest
my son used to like the peach-flavored...now he's gotten used to the lemon..he hated it at first though. It took him maybe two weeks to get adjusted. ----------------------------------------- This transmission may contain information that is privileged, confidential, legally privileged, and/or exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
