How exciting. Congratulations.

I have to share this: when I was pregnant with my son, I had an ultrasound

and was told that he was, without a doubt, a girl. When he came, the doc

said, ummmm I hope you really wanted a boy instead. It was so funny. I had

bought a bunch of PINK diapers and clothes for months prior to his birth so

he wore pink diapers for the first three months of his life.

That must be so exciting!!! Let us know when she is born. You must be on the

edge of you seat waiting for that phone to ring!

I just wanted to let yall know that my youngest daughter is in the hospital

and 8 cm dilated. My brand new baby granddaughter should be making her

debut sometime very soon. (2 ultrasounds have shown that it is indeed a

girl).

Today has been quite a whirlwind.. This baby was not supposed to be due

until next month, but when my daughter went for an ultrasound and nonstress

test yesterday they moved the due date up from July to June 5th. However,

when they did the nonstress test, they gave my daughter some pitocin to make

the baby move, so obviously my granddaughter decided that was her cue to get

the show on the road and make her appearance.

I'm awaiting a phone call from West Virginia to let me know when little

Hayley -Jean has arrived, and then I will make plans to carry my

buns up there and see her. I just had to share

Congratulations! Is there a Happy Grandma's Day? If there isn't, there

should be. Let's us just hope that the little one is healthy.

I was a bit doubtful myself , but apparently ultrasounds today are much more

accurate, and this time they were right.. she was indeed a girl

Congratulations Jan to you and your entire family!!! Now you are on the other

end

of the spectrum. My husband had his first grandbaby last year and it is

sooooooo

much fun to spoil him rotten and then give him back to his momma. You will

, How funny! When I was pregnant with my twins I was on active duty in

the Navy and got an ultrasound every month, sometimes more. I was told that I

was having boy/girl twins right up until the time I delivered. I was going to

name them and Page. When I delivered at 37 weeks, the doctor handed

the first one to me which was clearly a boy. The next one took an hour and

when the doctor handed the baby to me he said " Oops! Looks like another boy! "

I ended up with and iel. iel slept in a pink crib. I

don't think he noticed though. Dyan

Welcome fellow grandma! I am awaiting arrive of #3 (it is a boy) in August.

Our daughter also has a boy (7) and a girl (2). Being grandma is our reward

for all the years of parenting. They are a joy. Congratulations!
