Guest guest
In the Emergency Room, blood and urine cultures were performed and are pending at this time. He will continue his three times weekly dialysis at the Outpatient Clinic. Are Emergency Room and Outpatient Clinic capitalized? The physician does state the name of the hospital several times in the report. Thanks, ABB
Guest guest
There are differing opinions (style guidelines) out there, but I wouldn't cap unless the name of the hospital actually precedes the department name. Ex: The patient was admitted through the Mercy Hospital Emergency Room. An appointment was scheduled at the Mercy Hospital Outpatient Clinic. but The patient was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he had a long wait in the emergency room. He was transferred to the outpatient clinic the next day. Re: [NMTC capitalization question In the Emergency Room, blood and urine cultures were performed and are pending at this time.
