Hey all! I am trying to read through the old messages, but have a

crying baby to deal with so I need to just ask an often answered

question. I apologize for not just researching more on my own.

I am going back to a new doctor tomorrow and am ready to just ask for

what I want. Have been Dx with vestibulitis and have not had met a dr.

yet who knows anything about it beyond the basics. So, after briefly

reading through some posts I see the E&T creams are a good thing to

try. What do I ask for specifically...brand names, etc. for both? I

think I read Estrace for the E, but what about for the T?

I am just assuming this Dr will be as clueless so if you have any other

suggestion of thing I should just ask for please tell me!

Appt. is after noon and I will check back here in the morning to see

what you all say. Thanks so much!!!

Hi, I realize this is late...but my little boy has been really sick the last few days. I hope your appt. went well and that you were able to get some kind of help. It's hard trying to suggest something, because doctors are so different...and usually aren't very knowledgeable about female hormones. I have had good success with Estrace cream used topically. It only comes in one form (that I know of, anyway). I've been able to tolerate it, but some women have Estradiol (the active form of estrogen in Estrace) compounded in soothing base. The Testosterone I used was a compounded form. If you need specifics on ingredients and all, you can call the Pharmacist that several of us have used. His name is Pete Hueseman at bpharmacysolutions.com He told me exactly what to ask for when I went to my

doc, and gave me the fax info. They ship across the US. The estrogen you might could use while breastfeeding (since you only need a tiny little pea-sized dab on the vulvar area). The T. I'm really not sure. I know it's hard trying to learn this stuff with a baby. I've had two boys myself while fighting vulvar pain. But it is so important that you learn about this and know it well yourself. If not, the docs are so quick to blow us off. ChelleHey all! Chelle,

I hope your little man feels better!!

I wanted to mention that I really don't think T is ok for

breastfeeding (I don't know if the original poster is breastfeeding

but she said she's a new mommy). The E would be fine though.
