I keep culturing negative for everything. When I mentioned my fears to her last time about the adhesions she said they have nothing to attach themselves to anymore since I had the hysterectomy but I was reading up on adhesions today and that's not true.

I do have IBS but this is on the wrong side for IBS, it's on the right side by my hip bone and towards the front of my abdomen. It feels like a bad pulled muscle, so I'm hoping maybe it's coincidence and that's what it is (please God, for once in my life, make it something easy!)

Hey Ivy, Sorry to hear you are so worried right now...but try your best not to think worst case senario.Did you tell the doctor of your past history and your concerns? I wish I knew what to tell you, but if the pain gets worse, I'd call your doctor and just tell her she needs to figure out what is going on. I was going to say that it sounds like it might be a vaginal infection, but I'm not sure what be causing the abdominal cramps. You don't have irritable bowel syndrome do you? Hang in there...Chelle

Thank you so much Chelle, I need all the prayers I can get right now. I sincerely appreciate it!!

I'll keep you posted when I see the nurse practitioner on Tuesday. I'll tell her everything.

Oh, btw, I had Metrogel in the house and used it last night intravaginally. It stopped the burning and itching and some of the swelling. I'm going to use it even though I'm going to the doctor on Tuesday. If it helps I'm using it and they can all go fly a kite.

Hugs-

Ivy

I don't buy that either, Ivy. I would think you could still develop adhesions, too. Anyway, though, I hope you don't mind, but I'm already praying for you! ;-) Keep us posted...Hugs, Chelle
