Guest guest
I have the burning and itching and soreness. I had some metrogel in the house so last night I couldn't stand it anymore and inserted some thinking maybe that would help. I'm at my wits end. Scar tissue and adhesions are basically the same thing. Adhesions are just scar tissue that's stuck itself to something i.e.: your stomach or bowels. I hope they find out what's making your brother so sick! I hope it's something easy to fix. Ivy -- Re: New gyno visit Hi: My daughter had the burning, no itching. She had ulcers in her rectum, but her colon and small intestines had chronic inflammation with the blockage in her ileum. My brother just had a CAT scan yesterday, because of pain and nausea. We are waiting to see if it shows anything. I thought they were looking for excessive scar tissue due to a motorcycle accident he had 10 years ago. But, if adhesions don't show up, maybe scar tissue wouldn't either. His next step is to a GI doctor. Sherri Sherri New gyno visit So I just got back from the new gyno.GOD she's young! Lol She did the exam and cultured me. She says everything looks normal (story of my life). She said there is a slight white discharge (sorry) and it might be yeast (I'm on 2 yeast meds as it is) but she said she's not treating it until she gets the culture back.I was SO sore during the exam. I told her about the cramps and she said it sounds more gastrointestinal and I told her it's definitely vaginal. I mean, you CAN tell the difference. She said it doesn't even look inflamed which I can't figure out.I told her Dr. Knatz (my old gyno) thinks I might have vulvo vestibulitis and she said it could be. I asked her then why the cramps and she said it could be vaginal as well. (Is that possible?) They have a nurse practitioner in their Tempe office who's a vulvar specialist and she referred me to her and they gave me an appt for next Tuesday to see her. We'll see what happens. I go through this all the time with the same symptoms. I can't imagine what it is. In the meantime I'm crampy and sore and feel all swollen and irritated inside and out. Does anyone have a clue??
