I am experiencing a lot of pain on my right side but hoping it is just because I am ovulating and on clomid so figure lots of eggs lots of pain?????This is my first month on clomid so I am going to call the dr. tomorrow. The pain really hurts and has hurt all day... Guest guest Posted November 29, 2001 Report Share Posted November 29, 2001 Hi , I called the dr. on call last night and she basically just said she doesn't think its anything to worry about. she was really quick on the phone and kinda cold. she said that its a side effect of taking the clomid and sounded normal. This morning The pain has gotten better and my stomach isn't as swollen.. she did mention to call my dr. in a couple of days if it doesn't go away.. Are you ttc this month or are you waiting for the hsg test?? How are you feeling? Glad to hear you and your boyfriend made up.. well its naptime here so I gotta check the kids. talk later. Of course, since the lap, I have what I believe to be post-op pains on both sides, but I haven't correlated it w/o'ing due to it being on both sides. Who knows?! I haven't really had any more cm and my temps are still staying about the same...now I'm worried I missed when I o'd! Do you know how many days (approx) after ovulation that you get a visit from af? Is the average like 14 days? Just curious...But, maybe I'm being silly expecting to have o'd already since my cycles are so long...I am just clueless on this stuff! ahhhh! Guest guest Posted November 29, 2001 Report Share Posted November 29, 2001 Steph, I am no expert for sure but my dr says you get af 14 days ofter o'ing....I have 32 day cycles so I o on day 18 and I believe this month it was off by 1 day I o'ed on day 17 according to me cm charts. I have middlesmirtz on the side I o on each month and it all coinsides with my cm charting and day counting so.....as well as dr confirmed that is what is going on, so I guess I have myself figured out fairly well! Guest guest Posted November 30, 2001 Report Share Posted November 30, 2001 Cheryl, I am glad you are feeling a little better, but it's a shame your dr was so cold on the phone. It really doesn't take alot of effort to be nice or compassionate, but dr. seem to have a hard time with it. I wonder if medical schools offer a class in empathy. They certainly could use it. We are always TTC . I am hoping that af might not show up this month and I won't have to go. I am anxious about the test, but not scared like I was. The information from you, and everyone else, I feel a little more comfortable with what to expect. Hopefully, I will have the same luck as the other women in that I will get pr. soon after the test. Have a great weekend and enjoy the springlike weather we are having here in Boston. I am happy I am not out west, but will will get hit with the snow/cold sooner or later. Does that mean you have two chances of getting pregnant now. and what if you get pregnant with both times.
