I had my appendix burst, which I had to have an abscess drainage about 2 weeks later. Doctor said that I was lucky that the infection had walled itself off, because they drained 2000cc's of pus out of the sac. I imagine that he feels pretty rough right now. He just needs to take it easy, they prolly have him on IV antibiotics now, but when he gets home, it's very important for him to be religious about taking his antibiotics and also he will need to eat alot of yogurt. She had to recover from the surgery and then deliver my 11 lb. niece three weeks later. That was 12 years ago and both are fine and healthy. I will pray that your son does well and I will ask the good Lord to ease your worry. Hang in there.
