Guest guest
I'm just beginning " Core " so I was curious at your statement: ----- Original Message ----- From: Jay & Kris Swofford With regards to your 35 Flex Points...no you do not need to use them all but I personally couldn't do Core without using them all. I tried it for two weeks and I used every last Flex Point (on breads pretty much). Kris how is your weight loss going? I'm sure that I will have to succomb to all the flex points also to get through this. Was wondering how that would affect my weight loss? Guest guest
Hi Diann, I reached my goal almost two years ago. I was doing great for the first year but after we moved I got off track a bit and was having a terrible time staying on plan. It was pretty much do good for a week or two then forget to journal for a day or two and loose track of things. I kept playing around with gaining and loosing the same five pounds so I tried to get back on track by doing Core. I figured since I was having problems journaling things I would do better with Core. Funny thing is I ended up journaling everything on Core because curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to see how many points I was using. I was eating around 18 points a day but the foods I was eating were so much better and it really helped me get back into eating all my fruits and veggies. I couldn't stay on it though as it was just to difficult for me personally and really doesn't fit my lifestyle well. It's just to restrictive on the starches and that kills me. I have been doing WW for four years come March and have lost 64 pounds. It took me a lot longer to loose than it does most people, it took two years to get to my goal. And no I did not go off plan the entire two years! I hit a plateau that lasted for 6 months then the weight I lost after that came off a half pound or less each week. So it was a long slow process but I wasn't about to give up and get fat again. I made a promise to myself after I lost the first 40 lbs or so that I would never again weigh more than it said on my drivers license when I joined. It said 140 lbs but I was 194 when I joined WW. That was another reason to get back on track this past fall because the scale said 140 one morning. So it was back to weekly meetings and no more messing around. My current goal is to get to 120 that way I can make a new commitment to never get above 130...that's what my drivers license says now and that's what I weigh. But it is only 2 pounds lower than my goal weight and I would like a bigger buffer zone and smaller thighs would be nice too ;o) Kris 194/130/132 Diann Young wrote: >I'm just beginning " Core " so I was curious at your statement: > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jay & Kris Swofford > > With regards to > your 35 Flex Points...no you do not need to use them all but I > personally couldn't do Core without using them all.
