I guess he just thinks I can't do anything right....he said to me this

morning that someone had told me that God only gave special needs children to

special mommies....then in the same sentence he said " Guess God does make

mistakes when it came to you...you don't " work " with him, you don't do any of

the stuff I have read about moms doing with their autistic sons and

daughters...when are you going to start doing " therapy " with him? " To

which I replied....as soon as i get out of fucking college to be a PT OT ST I

will do fucking therapy with him...I had to go and leave in the car by

myuself......I mean he always wonders when I am going to start workign with

Oh GGGGGRRRRR is he related to my husband by chance? They must have been cut

from the same cloth because mine totally does nothing either. Sorry to hear

there is another slovenly useless piece of man flesh at your house too. Raising

Oh man!!!!! I would have SNAPPED!!!!! I'd probably have to find a way to

Oh Crap Caherine.

I'm so sorry. This kind of behavior just defeats the whole purpose (I

assume he's trying to motivate you) HA! It just de-motivates! I know

when my husband and I have had issues with this kind of thing, it just

sinks me into a deeper hole and I feel like doing nothing!

I'm sure you're doing as much as you possibly can and tell that jerk

that not all mother's of Autistic children are doing therapy with

their kids all day. I'm just trying to feed, clothe, and raise my son

and that takes all I have. And I only have one!

Any adult man that watches a lot of MTV, I really have to wonder

about. Does he play video games too?

(I'm not trying to say that no adults should watch MTV or play video

games, but there is some kind of a syndrome where men in particular

don't want to grow up and do this kind of activity way too much IMO)

I've seen a lot of that, including in my own husband. But thankfully

at 38, he isn't doing that much anymore. (he can't relate to MTV

anymore! LOL)

If you get desperate and marital counseling is out, try one of Dr.

Phil's books. We read a lot of " Relationship Rescue " a few years ago.
