Guest guest
There have been a few posts about hair loss recently, and excellent replies. I would just like to mention that hair loss could potentially be caused by not eating enough protein (like if you're on a low protein diet that is too low, or you're losing a lot of your protein), as well as other reasons which others have talked about. After a few months of not eating enough protein, the hair will break more easily and fall out, plus it won't grow as fast. So, it will look like hair loss. If you then start eating more protein, it will similarly take a few months for the effects to be seen. You can see this effect in your fingernails also. Guest guest
Thanks Pierre for pointing this out. My fingernails seem ok, but my hair has been doing poorly lately, and I wonder if this may have anything to do with it. I will most definitely try to maintain eating enough protein.
