update and transplant date

Hi all,

I finished my 8 weeks on hemo (via permacath) without any major

problems and I am now happily back on PD.

The good news is that I have a definitely tentative transplant date of

Dec. 1. There are still a few more tests that my sister will need to

take when she gets here (Australia) from the States, so I am not

counting my chickens yet. Still, having the docs say she should come

is a big step forward.

Please keep and me in your thoughts and prayers. (I pray for

you all, especially those just diagnosed and those still waiting for a

kidney.)

Thanks,

Congratulations. I think December is a good time, as opposed to summer, at

least where I live :-)

But that is summer in Australia Pierre - remember we're on the top of the globe

;-).

And I hear the toilets flush counterclockwise too....

LOL. An Australian winter is probably better than a Canadian summer :-)

December is summer in this neck of the woods. Oh well. Beggars

can't be choosers.

Hi ,

I am glad you were able to go back on PD. I will keep you and in my

prayers. How exciting to have a tentative transplant date. Please let us know

as 's testing gets further along if December 1 is a final date. We

want to pray for both of you on the day of your surgery too.
