Guest guest
The fat free stuff is O grams of fat per serving, and the low fat stuff shows a lower amount of fat than 'regular' per serving. Please note that two or more Fat Free things do not necessarily mean 0 fat, as 2 or more servings of 0 points items do not always equal 0 points. At some point in time, you must note the calories, and they do add up. Blessings, Beckie Thanks Beckie. To clarify.... So when I am doing the core programme and it says that these items are point free or core foods how exactly do I know if and when they are totally point free OR totally core foods (same thing just trying to be as CLEAR as possible) I want to try core but am a bit concerned as I have been on flex since I started 18 months ago & got rid of 22 kg in that time but I feel the need for a change and I want to get this right from the start! -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
, My understanding is that core foods are 'free', as many as until you feel satisfied. It is only when you use products not on the core list that you would need to figure the points and use the 35 weekly allowance points. For example, if you drink coffee and you add ff milk, you could add as much milk as you want(until satisfied) because coffee and ff milk are both core. However, if you used 2% milk, then you would have to figure the points and take them from your 35 weekly allowance. I have been considering going to core for a bit, but, I love the variety of flex. And of course, not all FF or Sugar Free stuff is core, either, depending on what it is. My Fat Free pringles are not on the core list!..lol I hope my babbling makes sense and has not confused you. Blessings, Beckie Thanks Beckie. To clarify.... Guest guest
Hi, again, , When I was talking about the fat free things not always being 0 points, I was talking about the flex program, I did not realize you were talking about Core. On core, it is my understanding that you can have as much core foods as you feel satisfied. My bad, that is why it was confusing. Please forgive. Guest guest
from the way it was explained when I attended meetings? there is a Core list of foods. If it isn't on the list? it isn't a Core food. And if we have something not on the core list? then we have to count points for it......... The tricky part to following Core, even tho it is excellent and a very healthy way of eating? is the balance of the portions? They want to get us to 'feel' the comfort level when we eat? and following the Core program is an excellent way of doing this? trying to alway be at a level '3' when we have eaten? not feeling hungry any longer? but not stuffed full either. I have tried both Core and Flex but for me still having such a long way to go with my Journey ( I have 100 pounds to get rid of ) I will follow Flex as it is more structured ? until I get closer to Goal and then try the Core to get a better feel for the way we should be eating.
