Guest guest
I just ment somewhat in general. He actually has a specific type box that he prefers as well. He like the boxes that I get books delivered in. These are his favorite. When my last batch of books came the kids came running up wanting to know if there were books in there for them and Dalton was demanding the box. It is actually really cute looking at him sitting in the box looking at a board book with his bear or watching TV. Guest guest
Well, I am learning to bellydance. I am into bodybuilding (trying to get my pre-child body back so don't think I look that good ;0)) you know about the cooking and recipe obsession, the Star Trek, the weird humor, my zoo...I don't think I have missed anything. This would be a really interesting sitcom I have to say. Guest guest
Okay. You're homeschooling 7 kids, 4 of whom are probably on the autistic spectrum. When the hell do you have time to body build and belly dance?? Do you EVER sleep?? ellen PS: This is an honest question, not meant to be sarcastic in the least. Guest guest
Well, I haven't done anything with the bellydancing in a while and I only need to find about 90 to 120 mins a week to lift weights. Most of the time that happens after the kids go to bed...when they go to bed. LOL! I also sell books in my spare time. Basically, I make time for everything that I want to do. Which is really saying something because time is something I have no concept of. Guest guest
I considered it. Our house is like a combination of The Wild Thronberrys, the Foxtrot comic, Who's Line is it Anyway? and Life Goes On. That pretty much sums it up. Guest guest
I dunno. I didn't give any thought to the weight of hair in all honesty. My hair is starting to grow back in and it is growing in a very ugly color. BLECH! Some sandy brown/dirty blonde horror color. I can't stand it. Chris said the color looks like hell, that it doesn't look good on me. Hormones from being pregnant really screwed up my hair. When we met it was light blonde, almost white, naturally. See, that color works. Red works for me. Not this icky disgusting color. Ok, done bitching about my hair...what little of it there is. Guest guest
I thought I would loose hair if I shaved my head. That was the entire point. I am sure that it isn't an ugly color on everyone. I am baised because I hate my hair. I get bored and I take it out on my hair. Only now I don't have much. LOL! Guest guest
I do the same thing. I did mine REALLY short after hearing about you shaving yours. I didn't go THAT far, but it was pretty short, just a bit longer than a buzz cut. Damn stuff is already growing back. I'd LOVE to have really long, thick, curly hair, but alas, it's not meant to be. It gets to shoulder length and looks really crappy. Dull, frizzy. So I cut it short again. ellen Re: Re: i think we're on to something here, real life " survivor " tv I thought I would loose hair if I shaved my head. That was the entire point. Guest guest
That is a scary thought. LOL! Well, most people think that the stories I tell about what goes on around here I am making up. Well, I know people here believe me. and I were chatting last night and comapring notes on what our houses are like. See, my husband (who I am totaly convinced is paranoid and has no clue of reality) thinks that our house is the one like this. He refuses to believe that this is NORMAL for a house with austic kids. I mean, the house that he grew up in his mom was an obsessive compulsive cleaner. She still is. The woman would have a heart attack if she came in our house. So thinks that every house is supposed to be as clean as his moms and he stresses out that it isn't. I don't think it would ever happen. The only time the house stays clean is when the kids are sleeping. Currently we have BBQ sauce on the ceiling (no idea how it got there) and wet toliet paper bits that have dried there on the bathroom ceiling. It goes on. He stresses out about everything that everyone here finds pefectly normal.
