I buy the South Beach Diet whole wheat crackers and the laughing cow

cheese and that makes a great 3 point snack. I also always take a bag

of veggies and they are 0 points. If you have a Trader Joe's nearby

they have Pita chips in Cinnamon and Sugar or Mediterranian that are

both really good and only 2 points a serving.

I don't know how much help this will be, but I almost always take leftovers. I

cook using WW recipes, Cooking Light recipes, Tribole's cookbooks, and

Fix It and Forget It Lightly, so pretty much all of our dinners are healthy (and

make good leftovers). Otherwise, if I have no leftovers I like Boca Chili

(frozen section -- 2 points for a bowl), Boca burgers on whole wheat hamburger

buns, wraps made with fat-free tortillas, meat, and some Laughing Cow cheese, a

big salad made with some meat and lowfat cheese to add protein and fat to carry

me through, homemade soup (I make it and freeze it in individual servings), or

occasionally a sandwich on whole wheat bread.

I eat throughout the day. I also like to eat a lot of bulk that is low in

points.

So I bring with me:

Piece of fruit from breakfast that I eat about 9:00 or so.

10:30 is lunch and I eat either a 2 point sandwich (deli ff or lf ham or

turkey on Sara Lee Delightful bread with veggies and mustard) or a 2-4 point

entree (Smart Ones or Lean Cuisine) with a big salad with FF Italian

dressing.

12:00 I generally have my fruit from lunch, sometimes carrot sticks.

1:00 I have a Quaker Chewy Granola Bar or 100 calorie pack

2:30 I have a granola bar before I run

Total tends to be 8 points for the day and keeps me from getting hungry.

Sometimes if the entree was bigger, I don't have the first granola bar. I

always have one (or 100 cal pack, something with carbs) before I run,

though.

I do the same thing, I make enough at dinner to have left overs the next day.

Or else I have a boca burger or a morning star chicken patty or a weight

watchers entree. it varies usually I always try to have enough left overs to

carry over to lunch the next day.

I sub, so I don't know how much help this will be because I don't know

whether I'm working or not until right before I go.

I'm on the core plan and generally eat leftovers for lunch. Or

I'll make a salad, with egg for protein and veggies and take a bottle of

vinegar with me when I leave. I also eat sandwiches and make up egg salad or tuna. Every

now and then I'll even have a peanut butter sandwich and spend the points!

Nummy!

If you don't have access to a microwave, sandwiches, be they in a wrap or

bread, or salads, be they veggie or pasta is the way to go because you can

get a cold pack for you lunchbag. IF you are determined to eat hot, invest

in a good thermos and heat before you go. Then you can have whatever you had

the night before

However, chili, soups and stews are more practical.

Basically, if YOU like it, then figure out a way to make it happen. If

you're bored, I'm sure everyone's coming up with terrific ideas to help out!

I have been brining those individual soup cups to work lately. I buy the

Healthy Choice ones and they are 3 points for the whole thing, 1 point if

you only eat half. Throw in a 100 calorie pack for desert. In the morning

I have my coffee and a granola bar, then midmorning snack a piece of fruit

(lately tangerines) and then lunch, mid afternoon snack consists of carrots,

grapes and a yogurt. Then a sensible dinner when I get home. Last night it

was 2 tbs peanut butter on 2 slices of Wonder Whitewheat bread for 6 points.

I seem to also be eating all day but I never get hungry and that is the

point.
