WW PDA programs

My wonderful husband got me a Palm Life Drive for Christmas and I

would like to load weight watchers programs on it. I know WW has their

own software and there is also the software that has been around for a

few years (the one in the files). Which one is better and why? Space

is not a big concern because my PDA has 4 gig hard drive.

What are some other programs that are realy good for PDA's?

I guess it depends on if you belong to Weight Watchers online. You have

to be an online member of E-Tools to get the PDA software for free. If

you are a member of WW Online, then I believe you have to pay extra for

the PDA sofware. You also have to sync it to the website in order to

update (or some such foolish thing). Personally I like the free WWCalc

program. You don't have to sync it to anything.

I would LOVE to have the Life Drive!!! I have a Palm Zire 71. Since it

is still working just fine, I won't be upgrading for some time... but I

would LOVE the 4 GB hard drive for sure!

I have been wanting a PDA for a couple years now and my husband

surprised me with this one for Christmas. It is really cool! You can put

photos on it, access the internet, and play MP3's. It probably does more

than I will ever use it for. I already put all my appointments in it and

everyone's birthdays with alarms to remind me, and of course found a few

cool games to put on it. It also has a fast food nutrition guide on it

and a cookbook program. When my husband gets done playing Book Worm on

it I am going to check out the list making program on it.

I down loaded the program in the files but I can't open it. What program

do you use to open a pdb file?

Is it just the food guide or is there a points calculator and other

stuff with it?

I am an e-tools user and ww on-the-go is free with your e-tools

subscription. It has the points calculator, points tracker, complete

food list, and restaurant guide.

I tried to download this one as well but for some reason it won't sync

up. I got it on the desktop and everything but it wouldn't hot-sync with

WW.?

To read the PDB files, you should use the wwcalc.prc file. I think that

should be in the files section too.

I had a problem with the WW version and syncing on my desktop and had to

use my laptop for that. For me, it might be a firewall issue. The laptop

doesn't have the same firewall sofware installed.
