Guest guest
I hope that some of you that have solved this riddle can help me. I'm 45 with 5 children. I have a doctorate and worked as a professor for many years before deciding to stay home. When I started a family I was 140. When I quite work I was up to 220 and I am now up to 270 (5'6 " ). I love the WW points, but I just don't care enough about my health and my looks to lose weight. Did I care when I worked? Only slightly more than I care now. My children notice, especially the teens, but they understand. I don't want to shame my children and feel that I should care and be more motivated to lose weight. I know I could die at any moment, and some of my children are still young. I see myself as a very selfish lady. Please offer ideas or insights if you are able. I only occasionally can get to meetings because they are out a ways. I'm thinking about joining WW online for more regular support, but now that I've found this list I believe you all might be of more help. I have tried other programs and think it isn't so much the eating approach as it is my attitude. I want to stick with the WW points and make it work.
