I was starting my last semester of college and was diagnosed in

December 2002 with Papillary Cancer that was contained to the

Thyroid. During my surgery they did the total Thryroidectomy. I had

a dose of 99 dose RAI in January. Six months later in July, My body

scan was clean but I had an elevated Thyroglobulin. I then received

190 dose RAI. My thyroglobulin in being tested again October 6th...

I am currently having difficulites with my salivary glands and

wondered if anyone had any information on what happens when your

salivary glands are damaged from RAI...symptoms? treatments?

Also, If my test in October comes back with an elevated

Thyroglobulin..what happens then? I am new to all this and would

like any information someone can give me.
