Looking for an experienced editor for several types of transcription. Need

to have experience with CARDIAC, GASTROENTEROLOGY, PAIN MANAGEMENT, AND

SAME-DAY SURGERY WHICH INCLUDES ORTHOPEDIC, PODIATRIC, and OPTHALMALOGIC

mostly.

You would need to have a wav player to access the software (DocShuttle) and

the recommended wav player would be Bytescribe, as sometimes the others will

not work with the system.

If you are interested, please let me know. This is a full-time position with

plenty of work for the right person.

Thanks.

Besides I do need help, maybe if you have all this time available you would

like to apply for some work that would cut out your time to police the board.

I don't feel the need to complain about someone who is trying to help others

on the board or any board for that matter. I think this is rather nice.

I would sent through a picture of what it looks like with a size 9 foot stuck

in my mouth but maybe you can just get a picture in your

mind.....Sorry.....wow, seems like I say that a lot lately. I'll try to mind

my own business and keep my comments intact.

I'm sure if you look through your Stedman's Medical Equipment word book under

'screw up', you'll see my picture....

Well, hopefully everyone is ready to stop jumping on

everything that comes through here and let the

moderators/owners quietly deal with these issues.

Or it may be because Beverly has been a member of NMTC

since the year 2000. I don't consider job offers from

our own MTs as spam.

Bev, I sure hope you find someone. There are many good transcriptionists on

this group who would make excellent editors. Margaret

I don't believe this is spam for several reasons. One of them being because we

all know BEV as a member of NMTC, I wasn't sure it was since 2000, but I can

believe it and immediately recognize her as someone who is a member. I also

don't consider this spam, but consider it to be someone who is legitimately

looking for someone to help her with her work. Not all job opportunities are

spam. There are ways to tell the difference. Just my 2 cents, Margaret

Yes, I thought it was kinda nice that a list member was checking with her

" cubicle buddies. " :)

I think the big difference here is that she's not some " stranger " just

joining the list to post that, never to be heard from again. But that's

just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions :)

Beverly, personally I appreciate the job offers that occasionally

appear here, especially if I recognize a familiar name offering the

work. I am not in a position to apply now, but I hope to take

advantage of these offers as my back surgery heals. Thank you, Bev,

for giving us a heads-up on these jobs.

Don't mean to snoop but, Lynn, back surgery? What happened? When did you

have the surgery? As a sister in experiencing back surgeries (7 in toto) I

want to offer you my support and prayers. God Bless You.

,

Besides this being from someone who is an active participant on the

list, the tone of this email is completely different from the one

that came several days in a row. Bev is much more specific with her

needs and much more descriptive about what an applicant MT would need

to have in order to perform the job duties. And she is not looking

for a large number of inexperienced or experienced MT's but for 1 MT

with specified experience.

These are some ways you can learn to tell what truly is spam and what

isn't.
