Guest guest
Hi, I had the same situation, I also dealt with it for about 2 years before correcting it, I had the reconstructive surgery in April 2003, so far it has been great. It is quite a process to deal with, you'll have tubes in your eyes for about 3 months and tubes in your nose for about 6 weeks, they actually have to break your nose for this procedure and bruising is incredible. I looked like I was hit by a train for about 2 months. I had both my eyes done at the same time as I didn't want to go through that twice. The whole thing was not that painful, but extremely uncomfortable for the first few months. Good news, I haven't teared since. Just learn as much as possible about this procedure and only have it done by a reconstructive occuloplastic surgeon. Feel free to ask any questions that you might have. Best wishes, Lynn in New York
Guest guest
Lynn, I'm glad you have had great results! I'm sure I'll have a few questions along the way!
