Guest guest
, I know who you are talking about and can't think of who it is either. She has a tube that is like 3.5 cm and that's the only tube she has. So she got pg with only 1 very short tube. If I think of who it is I will let you know. Anyone else remember?? - Welcome! Hi, my name is Terrie. and I are both Moderators of this fine group of ladies!! We also live in the Dallas area! lives in Garland and I live in Farmersville but we both work in Dallas. Where part of Dallas are you in? You can still get pg with short tubes. Talk to Dr. Levin and he will explain everything to you once he reads your chart from your TL. We are trying to think of who it is but someone on here just recently told us that she was pg with one tube that was 3.5 cm. I can't remember but I think her other tube was not repairable or was blocked. Anyway Welcome to the beginning of your exciting journey! Guest guest
Oh, and by the way, Libby lost her first tube years ago, before her ligation, so it had nothing to do with the reversal. She is now expecting in November I do believe. Guest guest
Hi Ladies, thank you for the warm welcome. It is amazing to find so many women in the same situation as I am myself. Especially here in Dallas! I live in The Colony - DH and I are building a house in Little Elm, but I work in Dallas/. I love this area...I am a born and bred Texan (born in Amarillo). The amazing thing is and which I respect greatly about Dr. Levin is last Friday I emailed him about my TL, the concerns I had...this was at 5:00 PM on the dot. I walked thru the door at home at 6:30 and my cell phone rang...I heard a voice say " this is Dr. Levin... " . I was SHOCKED... I don't want to trash Dallas Dr's, but I drive all the way to Grapvine because I found a Dr. 3 years ago that actually cares. So I was speechless. Of course my 22 month old son is throwing a fit for a cookie - Dr. Levin asked if I was sure I wanted another..LOL. Anyhow, I digress...I was just so amazed that he called that soon after I emailed him to give me hope about a TR. Thank you for letting me know it's possible to become pregnant with short tubes. I know from seeing my op report that that's what I can expect - I just hope they aren't ruined...I hate not knowing. > , I know who you are talking about and can't think of who it is > either. Guest guest
I am 5'10 " so maybe having at least 3.5 cm taken out will leave me with enough. I'll let you know how it goes in a few weeks!! P in Louisiana > My Post Op Report said my tubes were grasped in the middle and burned out two > cm on each side. So I also am wondering if this is true and if it was > actually burned in the middle. Dr Levin says if this is true then I should have at > least 6 cm left on each side once they take out the burned tube from the > cautery, because it not only burns out the two cm it burns up the tube a ways. So > after all is cut out I hope 6 is still left. I wish you luck. Everyones tubes > are different lengths. Dr Levin said from 8-10 cm, and the taller you are the > longer the tube. LOL I am short. So anyway good luck with the consultation. > ~ > > >
