Guest guest
Right now my daughter is just speech delayed. We have an appt with her general pediatrician on Tuesday, and have already planned to go to a private speech therapist for an evaluation (We already did get an Evaluation through EI and they agreed she's speech delayed). It sounds though like in addition to the speech therapist we should really go to either a Pediatric Neurologist, or a Developmental Pediatrician. Is this true, and if so which one would be better. At this point I'm concerned about Apraxia, but also Mercury poisioning (my mom found out she has high levels of mercury and several other metals, so if I do too I could have passed it on to my daughter, but neither of us have been tested yet). Thanks in advance for any advice! Crystal mom to Catey, 2 yrs
