You know, NMTC has always been known as a very respectful, friendly, and

professional group. We have a reputation to be proud of. I'm not sure when

some of you started thinking it was okay to come in here and make fun of people,

but you've got the wrong idea. There are other MT forums on the internet for

people who want to treat others with total lack of common decency and respect.

It doesn't belong here.

Who of us has not misspelled a word or hit the wrong key when sending email to

this list? Something so trivial and human. We have guidelines against flaming

or ridiculing " newbies " on here. You'd think that some things go without

saying, but I guess it needs to be said that we will not treat anyone this way

in here.

Spammer? Big deal. So we get junk mail once in a while. I probably hate spam

more than any of you, because I'm the one who gets the complaints in my inbox.

It isn't even the junk mail that you're making fun of, it's the person. When it

boils right down to it, there is a flesh and blood person on the other side of

that email. No, I don't appreciate it when someone comes in here and without

even a hello they post an ad. I think it is rude. We can boot 'em out, we can

tell them why, we can even turn them in for abuse if they continue, but it will

be done with tact and integrity.

I know I'm probably going to make some people mad with this note. I really hate

that, but I hate even more to see someone be treated this way. We're above

that.

Professionally done as always. The world is to serious a place to squabble

over small things. Can't we all just try to get along.

Keep smiling to all

AMEN Trisha. This is the best list for respect that I've been on and THANK YOU

for keeping it that way.
