Guest guest
Okay, weighs 40-45 lbs & is at least 40 inches tall. What is he supposed to be riding in??? I just realized our toddler/booster seat's 5 pt harness is only rated up to 40 lbs. After that they're supposed to use the seat belt. Are there any 5-pt harnesses that are rated over 40 lbs? We already have trouble keeping him in this seat and I have no freaking clue how to keep him in a seatbelt. HELP!?!?!? -Sara.

Guest guest
Sara, is still happy riding in his booster seat. He's 51 " tall and 75 lbs. It did come with the inside harness for smaller kids, but he only uses it for making the shoulder belt and seat belt ride in a safe position on him. It looks pretty much like a regular car seat otherwise. I don't know how would fit in it as to whether you could use both the cars belt system and the additional smaller child harness both. The combination might make it a bit more difficult for your escape artist! They only run about $40 at KMart and Meijers. Most department stores should carry them. Guest guest
Thanks Sue! We do have a toddler/booster that you're supposed to take the 5 pt out before using the seatbelt with it & I was thinking about using them both. But I really don't think it would keep him in it any better -- it would just be safer because the harness straps aren't strong enough to take his weight in a crash. Thanks!! -Sara.
