Every once in awhile I get a good one and I just have to share. This is the

condition of the patient on discharge, " At the time of discharge, the patient

was afebrile, with stable vitals, tolerating po, ambulating, voiding

spontaneously on room air. " Margaret

Thank you for reminding me. I did a death summary the other day... we went

through the whole thing of what was wrong and how the patient coded, did CPR...

blah blah.. Then at the very end he says: Time of death blah blah.

Disposition: Stable. Huh???? :)

Yes I suppose there is a certain amount of stability in death :) The patient

certainly can't get any worse.
