I am here...on top of my hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea on one side

and a valley with mountain range on the other. So glad to have an online

support group to be with since WW does not exist in Lebanon.

Hot here in Huntsville, Tx. too. My friend and I walk in the mornings, about

6:30. If we don't do it first thing in the morning, we won't go at all.

Blessings,

Beckie

Hi ,

I can relate to the heat. I am also in Texas, Denton to be exact. Where are

you at? For me, the best way to get my workout in is to do it as early as

possible. I know that even early is hot and sticky right now. I also swim

which gives me a little relief from the heat.

Maureen

I am new here and am doing flex pts. My current struggle is

movement!! It is sooo hot here in Central Texas that I do not even

feel like moving around!! And water--getting that in is a huge

struggle.

Hi All,

I'm April, from Ohio. I just started the Points

program and really like how it helps me order my

eating. The points help me (so far) to avoid certain

foods without feeling the deprivation that other

dieting has caused.

I am still having trouble with my water intake,

though. That's going to take some practice!

Great to meet you all, my partners in Points and Core!

Things stink here in central/south NJ.

Have been struggling for about a week - the heat makes it more difficult for

me I think because I don't want to get MORE hot by exercise and just can't

cool down enough after and during exercise.

Was doing well for about two weeks prior to this and am looking forward to

the break in the heat predicted tonight or tomorrow.

I just weighed - 236.2 - which is high for me but not bad considering I just

finished dinner with the family. I'll see my weight tomorrow morning -

which is when I usually weigh.

Here's to lower temps and drinking lots of water,

I'm here -- been on several trips and find myself maintaining between 201 and

204, up

and down. I'd like to lose at least 5 pounds before Labor Day, and finally get

to

Onederland!

Hello all,

My name is Vicki...I'm mostly a lurker. I did WW online and lost 30

lbs between Sept. 2003 and August 2004 when I started WW at Work.

Since I started WW at Work, I've gained approximately 11 lbs.

My problems are weekends. I WI on Tuesday and do great OP Tuesday

and Wednesday. By Thursday evening or Friday, I've lost all ability

to stay OP and don't get back OP until Sunday (even that is a

crapshoot). That doesn't give me enough time to flush out the

weekend excesses and I am always frustrated by the scale on

Tuesdays.

I'd love to hear from others who have the similar issue with not

staying OP on the weekends and how you have conquered it.

Thanks!

Vicki

I'm here, keeping my head down, attending meetings and really doing the deep, involved WHY

do I overeat? WHEN do I overeat? stuff.

Well I did that, for the past SEVERAL months, and know how, who and why etc

. . And realized I need to do core. And I'm ready to do this.

So I just switched and am going through that 'learn the program all over

again' phase.

I walk about 1 1/2 miles every morning outside with my husband. I also

do Carmen Electra Fit to Strip a few times a week. I also occasionally

do a Walk away the pounds video, or something like that. But there are

some weeks when I go without exercise at all. I show significant loss

when I am working out though.

Hi, everyone:

I'm here. Just got caught up on all the posts from the past few weeks.

I love this group, warts and all. You've always been here for me and

for that I thank you.

I'm doing well. I've been on a plateau for about two months now. Very

frustrating, especially because I'm really staying POP. This week, I

think I finally broke through. I think...we'll see next week.

Sometimes I weigh in lower and then I'm back up into the plateau

range. But, 185 is the lowest I've been, so I'm hopeful.

I've been doing my treadmill four days a week now. Trying to break

through the plateau by adding exercise. I've definitely lost inches,

if not weight, so I'm OK with where I am.

I'm thinking about joining meetings. Since I'm not working full-time

anymore, I think it would be great to be around other people,

especially other WWer's. I would also like to work at one of the

centers eventually. I like helping others in their journey. I figure I

owe so many people (mostly on this list) for helping me in MY journey,

that the only way I can repay them is by helping others.

Have a great day!

What's Carmen Electra Fit to Strip like? Is that a relatively new tape?

Doing good. Somedays are better than others. Been having a had time staying

focused. A friend joined WW this week. She will be looking to me for guidance

so a good roll model I shall be. I feel this will help me get back on track.
