Guest guest
Hi, my ENT/plastic surgeon recomended a scar cream at this site. http://www.scarless.net/home.html It's basically silicon. I purchased it, and have had two neck disection surgeries. My neck looks fantastic! I'm not sure if this could have still been the case without it. I put a thin coat of it on for 6 months every morning and night, after 6 weeks post surgery. If anything it was very soothing. I've had several surgeries and have great results by using a mix of aloe vera gel and vitamin E gel. I use 1 part vit.E to 3 or 4 parts aloe and shake them together. Rub it on 3 - 4 times a day and give the area a good, gentle massage with it. Also do slow, gentle stretching of your neck, as well. It's an inexpensive but effective home remedy. Just be sure to start out gently and gradually increase pressure and stretching range. Good luck and best wishes! Guest guest
Hello, I just logged onto the group, so I don't know if ReJuveness has been suggested. I've had three surgeries so far for recurrances (2 neck dissections), and I've had wonderful results with ReJuveness. After I had my first surgery, I developed a keloid scar which was pretty ugly, so now I always use the ReJ patch - the second scar was great, and I just had my third surgery, so time will tell, although I'm sure this one will look pretty good. Good luck, check out ReJ on their website ReJuveness.com Jane > > Hey Everyone, > > > He told me to massage it with cocoa > > butter. Guest guest
I had two surgeries within two weeks of each other. My first scar was across my neck and the second one in down the left side of my neck....from my jaw to my collar bone. I was so upset with the way it looked and my surgeon said after awhile we could do plastic surgery. He did recommend buying the Vitamin E pills. They are the plastic capsules with the Vitamin E gel inside. he said that was better than the oil. So I did and I must say after about 6 months my scar going across my neck faded so much. I also during the summer kept sunblock on it. People could not believe how good it looks. I started using it on the second scar and that took a little longer but within a couple of years, people couldn't even tell I had scars. It no longer bothers me and plastic surgery is out of the question. I do not want to go through another surgery. Try the Vitamin E capsules. just cut them open and smooth some of it on your scar. My 4 year old gets bumps bruises and custs all the time. I use the Vitamin E and **Knock on Wood** he has no scars. > > > > Hey Everyone, > > > > > > > He told me to massage it with cocoa > > > > butter.
