Hi everyone. I wanted to share that I just got the call from MedQuist; will be

working out of the Sacramento office. It has been bit of a long haul to this

day, almost 3 years from when I messed up my back. I've spent way too much time

worrying and wondering if I was going to get to this day, but everything went

well with the test so it looks like it's a go; looking forward to getting

started ASAP. I want to thank everyone in this group for what a help you have

been in getting oriented with this work--I needed lots of orientation. My

gratitude runs pretty deep.

Ken, That is absolutely fabulous! I am so thrilled for you. I am graduating

next Friday and I don't feel anywhere near ready for a job. I want to pick up

some advanced SUM cd's and keep practicing them. Let's us know how things go.

Ken, I will go to EBay and check it out. If anybody has stuff they'd like to

sell to a struggling MT student, let me know.

Keep us posted Ken. Hope you end up loving it.

Dyan, There is a set of SUM CDs and reference books for sale as a lot on EBay.

You might want to look at that. It is at $132 now. Item # 3605913365

Hi Kathie, We live close to L.A. but will be working out of Sacramento. They are

sending a 'contract' tomorrow so I am thinking that they are thinking

'independent'. I don't know much about the process but will just take it one

step at a time. Apparently my windows XP is fine, so I will be using this

computer. I don't know much else at this point. This is all pretty good news at

the Grassman house, to say the least.
