Guest guest
Hi , Great news! I bet you'll get some interesting stories from the kids on how they think you got your scar. Keep us posted, Mabel Good News! Hello!! Today was my first day back at school! I was so thrilled to be back, and my kids we ecstatic to see me. (I teach middle school PE) I thought is would be so hard to go back, but it was wonderful. I really realized today how much I missed it! I am completely exhausted right now, but am so glad I was able to go back. I was really afraid that after my second surgery I would be knocked out for good, my shoulder mobility has been terrible. But I am going to start some physical therapy and I know that being back in the classroom (well gym!) will help a lot. My kids are very interested in my scar. They ask all sorts of questions. I tell the 7th and 8th graders everything, but have told the 6th graders nothing. Part of their assignment on Health tomorrow will be to write a story about how they think I got my scar. (I got that idea from someone on this loop...thanks!) The kids are starting their 5th week of school, so I am a month behind them. I am also the 4th teacher they have had, I was replaced by 3 different subs! Well, hubby is telling me dinner is ready, so need to run. Just wanted to share the news that I made it through my first day back at work post-2nd surgery! **************************************************************** My husband has earned his right to be called a Marine. He has been tested and not found lacking... May I be found as worthy of the title Marine Wife.
