Guest guest
Hi Janay, I don't know how much support you are looking for, but we bought an inexpensive " Jeep " umbrella stroller at Toys 'R' Us about 5 months ago (it was in the $29-39 range). At the time, Evan was just starting to sit up on his own and was about 21-22 lbs. We were only needing to take his portable suction pump and sometimes his food pump. It has become our favorite set of " going-out " wheels because it's light and folds compactly. He still fits it (now is 26 lbs and is starting to be more mobile). The only downside is there isn't a basket underneath to put stuff, so we would have to carry the suction pump (or put it in the cart). We have found you can hang lighter bags (like his feeding pump) facing backwards over the handles. Over-all, we are very happy with this stroller. And it's a lot cheaper than getting one specifically for special needs. (mom to Evan, 17 months) jkhayes95 wrote: Hey everyone! Any suggestions for a light, umbrella-type stroller with support? Guest guest
Thanks! I was planning on asking her PT this week what his opinion is of how much support she needs. She can't sit unsupported yet and purposely turns her head to the ceiling to look at the lights. I'll check that one out.
