I think Bono is pretentious and self-important. <ducking and running> Jacquie -who has such a gut-deep disdain for Bono that she'll offend EVERYONE if she keeps this up < ok, i understand how you feel about bono and that's fine. i've never loved him anyway (but i don't hate him either). but the fact that someone, anyone, was able to do as much as he has for these countries, enough to be nominated for a peace prize, i think THAT is cool. and now i will say no more ------------------------- gina, 31, ny single mom to - kailey, 8, autism, hyperlexia, depression, anxiety, OCD, DSI trevor, 3, multiple developmental delays, no " official " dx yet parker jade, due 7-20-03 :-D

Guest guest
i wouldn't say bono (stage name bono vox - good voice in latin) is a newer performer - he has been around for 20 years. M.G.mum to Sebastian, 11 kinda quirky(NT) Rowan, 6 extra quirky (ASD) married to and living in Northern Ontario Re: a boy after my own heart. Oh, Gosh, ! I loved your answer! Just goes to show us older woman don't keep up much. I believe Bono (his only name, not his last name) is a newer performer that older women like you and me might not be as familiar with. Definitely no relation to Sonny! Leggs (an avid People magazine reader or I wouldn't know, either!)

I like Norton too. ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month! Guest guest
likes watching music videos, so that's what we did after the big brother fiasco. A BonJovi video came on. He asked who it was. I told him, and told him I'd liked BonJovi for 17 years. (can you BELIEVE they've been around 17 YEARS?) He said, " I wish BonJovi could come to our house. " <lascivious growl> " Oh, me too, babe. Me TOO... " I don't think we had the same kind of visit in mind. ;-) Jacquie

But, then again...I think the sexiest man alive is Norton, so what the hell do I know? :-P Jacquie
Guest guest
> i agree that edward norton is sexy. i also really like colin firth. but bono...mmm...bono...i love that he uses his fame to promote political agendas like drop the debt etc > Ahhh....see, over here at Aspie House, we believe that musicians are musicians, NOT politicians. And actors are actors, NOT singers. And singers are singers, NOT actors. And models are models, NOT actors, singers, or politicians. Stay in your compartment, dammit! LOL. Guest guest
> hahahaha, you're funny. you have to admit this is pretty cool tho... Bono was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 for his successful efforts to relieve third world debt and promote AIDS awareness in Africa. > no, I honestly DON'T think it's cool. I think Bono is pretentious and self-important. <ducking and running> Jacquie -who has such a gut-deep disdain for Bono that she'll offend EVERYONE if she keeps this up

One night stand? Meaningless Groupie Grope? Rob . Intense, passionate, possibly destructive affair? Norton. Jacquie
