How about a surgical nurse > specialist, or a nurse anesthetist? Oh, stop flattering me! ACK! But I have two close friends. One is a book dealer, and the other is an RPN at a residential home for adult psychiatric patients. I was talking to her about it, and she thinks that if I went through her program, I'd be good at her job. Apparently psychiatric nurses and practical nurses are in high demand -- nobody wants those jobs. She said that since I already KNOW that psychiatric illness isn't scary or freaky, and because I'm well acquainted with psychiatric meds and all that, that it would be easy for me to learn. I dunno!
